  • Graduation (2 Years Degree): Applicants holding a 2-year graduation degree or serving in the Pakistan Navy or Air Force should be aged between 17 to 23 years.
  • Graduation (4 Years Program): Individuals with a 4-year BS/BA (Hons)/BBA/BPA degree are eligible if they are aged 17 to 24 years.
  • Serving Army Soldiers: Current army personnel can apply if they are aged between 17 to 25 years.

Additional Eligibility Requirements

  • Gender: Only male candidates are eligible for PMA Long Course 155.
  • Marital Status: Unmarried candidates are preferred; however, married serving personnel of the Armed Forces over 20 years of age may also apply.
  • Nationality: Applicants must be Pakistani citizens. Dual nationals are required to surrender their foreign nationality upon final selection.
  • Physical Standards:
    • Height: Minimum of 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm).
    • Visual Standard: Distance vision should be 6/9, 6/12 with glasses; near vision should be J2, J7 or N8, N12 with or without glasses.

Selection Process for PMA Long Course 155

The selection process for the PMA Long Course is comprehensive and involves multiple stages:

  1. Preliminary Tests: These are scheduled to start from October 28 to November 07, 2024. The tests include:
    • Written/Intelligence Tests: Multiple-choice questions based on subjects such as English, Mathematics, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, and General Knowledge.
    • Physical Tests: Candidates must pass the following physical tasks:
      • 1.6 Km Running: Complete in 8 minutes.
      • Push-Ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes.
      • Sit-Ups: 20 repetitions in 2 minutes.
      • Chin-Ups: 3 repetitions in 2 minutes.
      • Ditch Crossing: Cross a 7’4” x 7’4” ditch, 4 feet deep.
  2. Medical Examination: Qualified candidates from the physical test undergo a medical examination to assess their overall health and fitness.
  3. Psychological Assessment: Those who pass the medical exam will take a psychological assessment to evaluate their mental aptitude and compatibility with the army’s demands.
  4. Final Interview: Successful candidates from the psychological test will be called for a final interview with the selection board at AS&RCs.
