The minimum basic salary for a Constable in the ICT Police is Rs. 16,310 and the maximum basic pay and salary is Rs. 43,610. Constables also receive an annual increment of Rs. 910 per year. The salary for a Constable is on the higher side compare to the other police constable in Pakistan, which is equal to the salary of a police inspector in a provincial police department. The ranks of Constable, Head Constable, and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) were upgraded from BPS 5, 7 and 9 to 7, 9 and 11 respectively in the last government. As the ranks go higher, the salary also increases, with a Station House Officer/Police Inspector earning Rs. 115,000+ per month, a Sub-Inspector earning Rs. 105,000+ per month, an Assistant Sub-Inspector earning Rs. 95,000+ per month, and a Head Constable earning Rs. 85,000+ per month.
